If you are reading these lines, it means that you want to give our contest a go. And why wouldn’t you? You could be awarded a free seat to our in-class course through which you can become skillful at creating high-end visualizations. What is more, if your class performance impresses us and you pass our assessment test, you could launch your career at Brick right after by becoming a full-time employee.

This is an opportunity many artists find attractive, making the contest rather competitive. Before delving into the details and learning about the image that needs to be delivered for the contest, please make sure you are eligible to participate by going through the requirements section below.

Requirements

• Commitment to take part in our full-time course, May 2-31, 2022 at the headquarters of Brick, in Budapest (8 hours a day every weekday)
• Ambition to work at Brick Visual full-time, at the office
• Over the age of 18 with a permit to work in the EU
• Complete application: the image created specifically for the contest (min 4K resolution, details below) + CV + portfolio in PDF (please note that we do not accept links to Instagram profiles/portfolio websites)

The task - create an exterior image

We challenge you to create one exterior image based on the raw model we have provided. The model is intended to represent a workshop/craftsmanship studio in a natural setting. Your task is to craft an image that reflects this function of the building with a fitting mood, storyline, and characters. It is possible to slightly alter the model if it better matches your concept but try to keep the main characteristics.

Jury and judging criteria

All works will be evaluated by the mentors of Brick Academy. In the evaluation process of the applications, candidates will be assessed based on professional criteria: composition, artistic value, storytelling, quality of visualization.

Prize

We will award one talent within the contest who will receive the prize:

• a free seat to our Image Generalist in Archviz Course
• a job offer upon successfully completing the above course

Deadline: April 12, 2022 (midnight, CET)
Result: April 19, 2022 (all applicants will receive an email about the result)
