Can you believe we're already four months into 2023? Here at Brick Academy, time flies when you're surrounded by exceptional talent and incredible creativity. In this post, we give you a sneak peek into what our students have been learning, and we showcase some of the most stunning visualizations they've produced.

The Post-Production in Archviz course was held in a hybrid format for the first time ever. Participants gained valuable knowledge, but the most crucial takeaway was recognizing the importance of applying artistic aspects into their work. We believe in shifting the mindset from viewing architectural visualizations as solely technical to acknowledging their artistic potential. Our mentors offer all the necessary support and regular feedback to help students put this into practice quickly, and make their work stand out.

We took our Animation in Archviz course to the next level by updating the curriculum with the most in-demand 3ds Max plugins. Unlike previous courses, we didn't just provide a demo but integrated the software into the production workflow. This gave participants the chance to try Chaos Vantage, Tyflow, Phoenix, and Anima first-hand, which was a new experience for many of them. This was made possible by Pulze's integration with Helio, which further enhanced the course experience.

The students had a unique opportunity to hone their skills and test the software by working on Coldefy's Shenzhen International Performing Art Center design. The project had never been animated before, and special preparations were made to enable course participants to practice creating both interior and exterior shots for this remarkable design.

The crown jewel of our program, the Image Generalist in Archviz course welcomed talents who wanted to learn high-end archviz from the basics. We taught them both technical and artistic aspects of the craft, and gave them real-world projects to build practical experience and develop problem-solving skills. We were thrilled to welcome these aspiring artists at Brick’s HQ in Budapest, and enjoyed connecting with them during their one-month stay.

We witnessed how naturally professional and personal relationships formed between the students, their mentors, and Brickers, which reinforced our belief that the archviz community is truly inclusive and exceptional. The experience not only helped the students learn and grow but also fostered a sense of community and belonging, which is crucial in any field.
